epdfview software package provides Lightweight pdf viewer based on poppler libs, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install epdfview
epdfview is installed in your system.
Make ensure the epdfview package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep epdfview *
You will get with epdfview package name, version, architecture and description in a table
